This superbly restored, former estate stone cottage offers excellent terraced holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Brantingham opposite the village pond and green. It has modern internal features, including high speed fibre broadband, a bespoke kitchen, feature brick barbecue, patio furniture and sun umbrella for an al fresco meal, sofa bed (for alternative sleeping only), and an oak staircase, leading to galleried landing with a desk and views of the village green. It has quality oak furniture, and furnishings created with the help of an interior designer. The property also has special lighting, underfloor heating downstairs and in the bathroom, and provides a lovely base to explore the area from or simply relax in. Luxury toiletries, bathrobes and bed linen are also provided. It benefits from a south-facing garden with built-in barbecue and it is only a short walk to the village pub and restaurant. On arrival, guests will receive a hamper of local produce to help them settle in. At Christmas time, it is decorated for that festive cheer.
The owners offer their customers one free session per day with their pet at Hunsdale Fields. Both fields are fully enclosed, with 6 feet high fencing, of 3 acres and 5 acres each, where each customer has the exclusive use to let their dog exercise off the lead, without the distractions of other dogs or their owners.

You might never want to leave the village, but if you do, there is plenty to do in the local area, including Beverley with its cobbled streets, racecourse, minster and courtyards. Hull is only 12 miles away, with its 2017 City of Culture status, museums, Humber Bridge, Hull Truck Theatre and The Deep aquarium. Hull University is only 13 miles away, making Pond View Cottage ideal for parents visiting their children, taster weeks and graduation. Further afield there is Burton Constable Hall, Castle Howard, North York Moors and Xscape Yorkshire (which boasts the country’s biggest real snow slope). York, with its minster, Shambles, museums, nearby Yorkshire Air Museum and boat trips, is 28 miles away. Cyclists and walkers will love the rolling hills and many established walks, including the Yorkshire Wolds Way and Coast to Coast cycle route, which are accessed from outside the door. For those that enjoy a game of golf, Cave Castle, Brough and Hessle golf courses are nearby. Metal detecting (on private land) and fishing can be arranged. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Beautifully renovated cottage with every detail considered. This is a proper home from home run by people who really care about the total visitor experience. Brantingham is a lovely village and very close to Hull and fairly close to York and seaside towns such as Bridlington. The only thing the village is lacking is a proper pub as the Triton Inn (whilst still nice) is more of a restaurant than cosy pub.

A wonderfully comfortable cottage in an idyllic location. Pond View Cottage is among the best we have stayed in over the last number of years, it is well equipped, comfortable and pet-friendly. We really enjoyed the welcome pack which contained many of the goods which make Yorkshire famous, thank you, Catherine and Martin.

Pond View Cottage is absolutely lovely ... the owners have thought of everything, we wanted for nothing. Everything is top notch and the welcome hamper and other goodies were the best we've ever had. Plenty to explore within a relatively short drive and a great doggie beach only 50 mins away. Would highly recommend. Many thanks also to Catherine & Martin for the free use of their dog walking fields which are less than a 5 minute drive away.

Immaculate cottage. Extremely comfortable, the owners have thought of everything to make your stay first class. Jumbo fluffy bath towels and robes in wardrobe. Beautiful bed linen. Parking and outdoor area perfect. The use of the dog field was fantastic especially with 2 energetic spaniels. What an amazing set up. Very generous hamper and well equipped kitchen. Also a lovely warm welcome from Catherine on our arrival after a hard and incredibly wet journey. The homemade Sloe Gin was delicious and very welcome.

We had a wonderful stay at Pond View Cottage. The cottage is impeccably finished and has everything you require for your stay, including very generous welcome package. The owners were welcoming and responsive and we felt as if the cottage were our own for our week in it. Our 18 month old loved it, especially the toys that were left for her to play with during our stay. I would equally recommend this cottage to families with babies, children or couples of all ages. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic cottage, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. The owners Martin and Catherine have thought of everything you could ever need and the welcome basket was very thoughtful and generous. Plenty to do in the area and some great countryside right on the doorstep. A very relaxing break! By far the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we will be returning!

The cottage was absolutely perfect. So many extra touches made our stay so special from the bread that smelt so lovely on our arrival to the hamper full of goodies and fresh vegetables. The whole place was spotless with everything we needed and more. Such a gorgeous tranquil setting. We will miss those ducks on the pond but am certain we will return. With many thanks to Catherine and Martin who were so welcoming, helpful and kind.
