My 4th time here , so it is obviously my kind of heaven , everything is provided for a very comfortable stay , the hosts , Graham and Diane are lovely and the location is world beating.. An excellent base for visiting all that South West Cornwall has to offer - and that's plenty.

We came for a studio fit for 2 adults, with a seaview, in Cornwall, an excellent base for daytrips and walks. We got all this and much more! a spotlessly clean studio, a very well kept garden, all the comforts you could wish for (especially a really great modern bathroom) and very warm and welcoming hosts. They live above the studio and really love to make you feel at home and cared for. They also like very much to have their stuff in order, so every remark is promptly and adequatly adressed.

We enjoyed our stay at Polgew, it was a good base for exploring the Penwith peninsular by car, bus or walking. The apartment is clean and well furnished with a lovely garden. The owners Diane and Graham are very friendly and helpful but sufficiently discreet. We encountered problems with television (particularly BBC), radio and wifi reception, which was patchy throughout but this may occur locally anyway. A small library of DVDs might have substituted for the loss of TV channels. Limited space in the kitchen meant no conventional oven which limited our cooking options. We felt, compared to other apartments and cottages we've stayed in, there was a shortage of information about the surrounding area. On the whole, we were very happy with our week there.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your kind comments, we are sorry that you didn't let us know that you were experiencing problems which we could have resolved instantly. We would have replaced the T.V. With a spare one, because there was a fault on B.B.C. We can't get radio but there are 38 channels on the television. The House Book on the coffee table has 38 laminated pages of information on the area, and the magazine rack has over a 100 brochures on local attractions, and we do have a large collection of DVDs. Apologies that you hadn't realised the microwave has a conventional oven which bakes and roasts. Unfortunately, because of where we live there are 'blips' with Wi-Fi, but we have done all we can to keep it consistent.

Di and Graham couldn't do enough for us,we only stayed a week but in that short time felt like family.Studio was spotless, everything we needed, felt like home straight away,Di even provided us with a fan.We wanted to find somewhere we can go every year and we have found it,our last place in St Ives have now retired.
