This Anglesey cottage has great style and panache with a large dining table, clean lines and bi-fold doors that open out to both the front and rear of the house, and a lovely welcome for your arrival. On the ground floor there is a large contemporary kitchen and living area with two stylish bedrooms, one with wheelchair access to bedroom and shower room. The master downstairs bedroom has a fantastic picture window with views of Malltraeth, Newborough and the Snowdonia Mountain Range. There are two more en-suite bedrooms on the first floor with Juliet balconies and views of the Malltraeth Estuary. All bedrooms have zip and link beds making this a flexible cottage. Also on first floor is a spacious and comfortable lounge, again with two Juliet balconies. Cool and contemporary with an L-shaped grey leather sofa, quirky chairs and dashes of colour, it really is a distinctive and stylish cottage. At the front of the cottage, you’ll find a Communal seating area with a separate lawn. Each cottage has its own skittle/bowling set. There is a patio at the back to enjoy the morning sunshine and an al fresco breakfast or lunch.
Walk or cycle down the quiet tree lined lane from the property passing the ancient church Trefdraeth to Malltraeth and follow the footpath across the estuary to Newborough Forest Nature Reserve. This forest is a birdwatcher’s paradise with ’hides’ placed in the woods, some by small lakes ideal for quiet observation. Look out for the red squirrels - Anglesey has almost completely eradicated the greys from the island so that the reds now thrive.
The popular resorts of Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay are also nearby. The miles of pristine sand from Llanddwyn Island, to the southern tip of Anglesey, forms one of the finest beaches in Britain with dramatic mountain views, clean, clear water, woods and mythology.
Plas Marion Properties are totally separate from each other, each with its own dedicated parking area and outside space. However, if a family gathering, wedding or reunion is planned, the three properties can be hired together to sleep a total of 18.
