Had the most perfect week at Pine View. The lodge was beautifully presented in everyway, spotlessly clean, comfortable and was fully equipped with everything we could need. We were totally blown away from the second we walked in the door! The views from the upstairs balcony and veranda downstairs were simply breath taking and I will never forget lazy mornings with a cuppa enjoying the peace, tranquillity and the best friends we made, the ducks!! They wander round all day visiting the lodges to be fed and what a delight it was to watch the ducklings grow during our stay! The hot tub was lovely, sitting after a long day looking at those views with a little drinky, simply perfect and it was great to hear the owner puts fresh water in for each guest! For any golf lovers it was a dream, my husband enjoyed quite a few games over the week and was a treat having it right on your doorstep and at a good price too! We enjoyed watching him tee off from the balcony! The position of the complex is perfect to totally get away from it all, I have never felt so relaxed but equally perfectly positioned for trips out. There is a very handy big Tesco's express within a 10 minute drive ( of which we could get practically everything we needed) and a superstore around 15 minutes away and we ate at a very nice pub on the Broads within a 5 minute drive called the Bell Inn. All day trips we had were no more than 35 minutes drive, our favourite being hiring a day boat on the Broads, beautiful scenery and again so peaceful. If you do prefer some old fashioned seaside arcades, pleasure beaches, sealife centres etc it is also within a 20 minute drive at Great Yarmouth and the nearest beach Gorelston was lovely with free parking. We are sure we will be returning to Pine View and wish to thank the truly lovely owners Debbie and John for their kindness, hospitality and for sharing their amazing lodge!

Very peaceful, we spent a week over New Year. You do need a car to get anywhere, but for us that wasn't a problem. Very, very well appointed and equipped lodge, spotlessly clean. thoughtful touches provided, bottle of wine on arrival, coffee pods, we took all our own dishwasher tablets foil cling film washing up liquid kitchen towel, bin bags blah blah blah, BUT it was all provided. Quiet and peaceful, located on the edge of a golf course (we don't play) With a small lake in front of it, we fed the ducks scraps of food every morning. We loved the hot tub. Comfortable beds. Warm and cosy. We visited Southwold, busy and quaint loved it, went to Lowestoft an Yarmouth (beach stuff closed but its what we expected), went to Horsley beach to see seals and their pups. Enjoyed a drink by a roaring fire at The Fritton Arms, enjoyed two home cooked food meals at the Bell Inn (large portions piping hot). We were two couples and agreed that it was a total relaxing break

Excellent property with comfort the priority, could not fault the accommodation or the views and peacefulness. A car is absolutely essential with local amenities not really within walking distance with the exception of the Golf Club. A very tranquil break and I would consider a return stay.
