Horse riding is available nearby and the surrounding areas offer lessons, trekking and livery.
North Somercotes is one of the larger villages in the area and has several shops, takeaways, two pubs, a licensed restaurant, hairdressers and beauty facilities. North Somercotes is 15 miles south of Cleethorpes, a popular holiday resort including the theme park Pleasure Island, the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway and other attractions. Mablethorpe, 11 miles, is only a short drive away and has sandy beaches along with all your normal seaside attractions including a fun fair and amusements.
