It lies in the pretty village of Chatton, tucked between the picturesque National Park and the breath-taking coastline of Northumberland. All on the ground floor the bedroom has a large super kingsize bed with a south-facing window and cosy underfloor heating and the modern shower room is ideal. The living area has a large inglenook fireplace with a cosy wood burner, underfloor heating and another large south-facing window creating a sunny warm ambience. The kitchen is small and well equipped with all the appliances you require for your holiday.
Chatton Village is a gorgeous country village nestled in the pretty Northumbrian Valley, bordered by the Cheviots. The village store and Chatton art gallery complement the quaint village atmosphere and the village green planted with pretty shrubs in the summer. Keen walkers are sure to be impressed by St. Cuthberts Way, a 100-kilometre long-distance trail between the Scottish Borders town of Melrose and Lindisfarne off the coast of Northumberland, named after a 7th-century saint. The nearby town of Wooler is set along the last leg of the journey, so you needn’t traverse the full length. Wooler itself is just under 4 miles away and features a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants and facilities. . If you fancy something exciting, why not visit Chillingham Castle only a short drive and book onto one of their ghost tours!
