Set at the very end of Newquay’s sought-after Pentire Avenue, Beach House enjoys a fabulous coastal position with wonderful sea views and the world-famous Fistral Beach close by. Spacious, sociable and arranged entirely on one level, this welcoming bungalow is made for memorable seaside holidays with family and friends.
Step inside and the generous open-plan living space immediately takes centre stage. Combining the lounge, kitchen and dining area, this bright and inviting room is the natural hub of the house, with sea views providing a constant reminder that the Cornish coast is never far away. Three comfortable sofas give everyone space to spread out, chat about the day’s adventures or gather in front of the TV for a relaxed evening together. A wood burner adds character to the room, although please note that it is for decorative purposes only and cannot be used.
At the other end of the room, the well-equipped kitchen makes catering for eight guests refreshingly straightforward. There is a range cooker, two fridges and a freezer, alongside a substantial central island offering plenty of preparation space and breakfast-bar seating. Share leisurely breakfasts before heading to the beach, then return later to enjoy dinner together around the large eight-seater dining table.
Four bedrooms provide flexible accommodation for families and groups. The principal king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath, while two further king-size rooms and a twin bedroom offer comfortable places to recharge. A second family bathroom also features a bath with a shower over, and the useful utility room incorporates an additional WC.
Outside, the mainly paved garden unfolds across several levels, with portable furniture, a patio featuring built-in stone seating and a small area of lawn. Care should be taken on the different levels, particularly during wet weather, as the sone surface can become slippery.
From surfing and bodyboarding at Fistral to invigorating coastal walks with the dog, Beach House places Newquay’s outdoor adventures within easy reach. The town’s restaurants, shops and family attractions are also nearby, creating a brilliantly positioned base for days filled with sea air, sandy paws and classic Cornish fun.
