An attractive ground floor conversion just minutes from the coastal resort of Perranporth.

Sea Views

These attractive, converted farm buildings have been finished to a very good standard of holiday accommodation and are surrounded by green fields and only minutes from Perranporth. Perranporth on the dramatic North Cornwall Coast, has a stunning 3 miles of golden sand, backed by dunes and rolling fields. Right on the sand is a superb beach bar and restaurant with live music, good food and local ales. The coastal town is very family friendly with many surf, gift and local shops that line the high street that leads down to the beach. Surfing and surf hire can be found locally as well as a local golf course and horse riding which are both only minutes from Pencrennow. West of Perranporth is the coastal village of St. Agnes, and the quaint village of Crantock is to the east, both a must for the craft shops, stunning beaches and cliff walks. The surfing town of Newquay with its seven beaches is just minutes away with its many attractions which include a zoo, Sea Life Centre, Creally Adventure Park, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, leisure centre, golf course, pitch and putt course, parks and gardens. Newquay has many restaurants, cafés and shops as well as beaches and dramatic cliff top walks. With its beaches comes surf and surf schools, so you can try your hand at this exhilarating sport. Truro, the capital of Cornwall, is easily reached and is a must to explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the restaurants, shopping, museum, cinema and theatre for an alternative day or evening out. Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s food empire is a must visit for all the family. Wander around the narrow streets that all lead to the working harbour and enjoy the ambience provided by this traditional, working fishing village. This stretch of coastline is dotted with quiet beaches, secluded coves and has a rich history of smuggling. There are many National Trust houses and gardens, such as Trerice Manor, Lanhydrock House, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within easy reach of these lovely holiday cottages. Excellent property that was up to the minute. The fit out quality was exceptionally good with top quality fixtures and fittings and superb build standards. The location was very good with easy access to touring routes. One thing that would be a useful addition is access to WiFi.,other to that very satisfied.

There is no sea view from garden, you have to stand in road to see the sea. You can’t sit in the garden because it looks as if the bench has been broken for some time. The single chair needs replacing. The bed is hard and uncomfortable, and needs a mattress comforter. The tv is small, there is no WiFi. The whole cottage is basic and in need of an update and does not reflect the price for the rental of it. We have stayed in many of your rentals and this was a big disappointment. There was no welcoming hamper and we never saw anyone all week

Excellent cottage, close to Perrenporth. Would recommend only walking into town if you can manage a steep hill on the return journey. Beautiful flower baskets and tubs. Very friendly staff made you feel welcome. Only grievance was, we would have expected clean towels and bedding for the second week, but this did not spoil our holiday and we would stay again.

The Gatehouse very nice and was ideal for two people.we used to visit Perranporth when we were younger. On returning this year we found it very different( not as nice). This is why we would not return to the Gatehouse. We visited plenty of places ,St Ives, Truro, Newquay, Padstow, St Agnes all very nice.

We enjoyed our week at the Gatehouse. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and well positioned for visiting many places nearby.
