Amazing. The views alone are worth it. Lovely friendly hosts who even had milk and Welsh cakes for our arrival. Which were well received after a 10 hour journey. The apartment had everything you could want or need and was very clean. We were sad to leave.

Ceidrych and Debbie's cottage is a great choice for exploring the Carmarthen area. It is well equipped and the view from the patio is stunning. Parking was right outside our door in the back garden of the house, secure and with enough room to do a three-point turn. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and unobtrusive. The leather settee and armchairs were comfortable and the dining table and chairs made eating-in a more pleasant experience than the breakfast bar that some other apartments offer. As we suffer from bad backs, we always take a mattress topper on holiday, and I am glad that we did. We benefited from the apartment being on the ground floor, with adjacent parking. The house is located a mile off the A40, which is a (comparatively) fast road from Brecon to Carmarthen and beyond. Note that many of the minor roads in this area are winding single tracks with occasional passing places. For your first arrival, it is best to follow the instructions and approach from the Llangadog roundabout.

Fantastic place to stay with stunning views. My wife has mobility problems but this place is ideal as you can park right outside the door and everything is on one level. Set in secluded countryside so very peaceful. Met the owner who was lovely and very helpful. Will definatley stay there again.

Considering the stunning views, the property is easily accessible via good roads. The apartment itself was perfect in our view. It is warm and cosy with extremely efficient heating. We enjoyed sitting outside on the swing on an evening even on a chilly night. We watched the sun rise over the Brecon Beacons on the opposite side of the valley. The sound of red kites fills the air and you can watch them circling overhead. Nearby Llandeilo is pretty and quaint, whilst offering a good selection of shops. There is an abundance of National Trust properties, castles and other attractions in striking distance. We visited Saundersfoot, Cardiff, Mumbles, the Gower Peninsula, Rhossilli Beach (unmissable), the RSPB reserve at Gwennffrwd-dinas for a spectacular waterfall walk, the Gold Mines, Red Kite Feeding Station plus more. There's so much to do that we're planning a return trip. Thank you to the kind hosts for a much needed holiday in a beautiful part of the world!
