We had a superb holiday, however as some had mentioned previously the cottage is dated. We don't mind olde worlde but the accommodation desperately needs some attention. The decor is not only dated but quite dirty. There were many cobwebs in all rooms. There are steps in the kitchen/outhouse which could be a bit dangerous to elderly people. As said we did enjoy our stay, the garden and location were great and Thornton-le-Dale is a beautiful little town with good shops, eateries and lots of lovely walks. Will definitely return but perhaps not to that property - sorry!
