Our second visit here. We love the location, the views, the garden and the pretty walk into Thornton le Dale. Don't book the cottage if you want sleek and modern; we prefer quaint and old fashioned!

The cottage is in a excellent location for walking and visiting different local attractions, Flamingo land and Eden camp within 20 minutes drive, Scarborough and Whitby within easy drive also. The cottage is in lovely quiet area overlooking the cows, goats and sheep out the front and lovely little back garden to enjoy breakfast or drink on night only thing you can hear is the birds the cottage itself was like visiting Grandma cottage stuck in 80s but did still kind of work and was part of its charm
