There are splendid views towards The Black Mountains and the Cambrian Mountains, or you can visit the historic wells of Llanwrtyd or Llangammarch. Llandovery is situated 3 miles away on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, whilst 6 miles away is Myddfai, famous for its physicians. The area is full of beautiful walks and bridleways, with an RSPB nature reserve near Llyn Brianne Reservoir. The beautiful forests of Cwm Rhaeadr and Crychan are a short distance away. Guests can bring their own horse (book separately) and enjoy riding in this stunning scenery. Approx 11 miles away is the market town of Llandeilo. Pub 0.5 miles.

A really relaxing week away from London, which is just what we wanted. The cottage was lovely, just the right size for a couple, warm and cosy. It had everything we needed. Even though located next to the owners' house, it actually felt really private, including the outdoor space. The owner was friendly and just let us get on with our holiday. The area itself is in beautiful countryside with great walking opportunities, and on a clear night, the stars in the night sky are truly amazing - the best I've seen in Britain. There is also a local pub within walking distance which served good food. We would definitely recommend this cottage.
