Spacious cottage but could do with a good spring clean. Single combined oven/grill was a bit of a struggle when cooking for 8. Back garden could have done with a good tidy and patio swept. Sun lounge was cluttered with old sofas (and the sun doesn't really hit the back garden/sun lounge). Two of the en suites were rather tired).

Would highly recommend and we would stay again when visiting the Cotswold! Accommodated a large group of us, 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, had basic kitchen utensils, house was really warm, showers were good. Owner took the time to explain to us on arrival and departure. Had an enjoyable stay!

Nice enough cottage in super position. Parking very difficult on steep gravel drive. Only really parking for 2 cars although 3 was advertised. Odd collection of crockery and ornaments!

Lovely area. Unfotunately the house needed a good clean, kitchen floor dirty, rugs very dirty and bedroom doors had to wiped clean before we went to bed. Strange because towels and bed linen spotless . Parking was difficult, only room for 1 car not 3 . Land lord very helpfull when we arrived but one evening he brought coffee filters to us, knocked and then tried to open the door to walk in. Fortunately it was locked. Given 4ladies in the house we did not like this !

A group of eight adults stayed here for a long weekend. The house was ideal with plenty of space including four shower rooms. A large dining room/ lounge meant that we could both sit and eat comfortably together. The owner was very helpful and lives nearby. Despite being so close the village centre it was quiet and had private parking. Chipping Camden is a delightful village and I would highly recommend the area. We shall be coming back to Orchard House again.

Had a nice holiday in Chipping Campden. The cottage is in a good location, a couple of minutes from the village centre. However, the cottage was filthy and several of the showers didn't work. The kitchen in particular was in a disgusting state. I would not stay there again.

An enjoyable week. House was well equipped, particularly with enough bathrooms for each couple to have their own, a real bonus. If young children visit they should be guarded by an adult at all times in the front garden - large unfenced drop to car parking from the front garden. Location very good with plenty of places to eat within a short, easy walk. Also a small Co-op and a pharmacy together with lots of individual gift and craft shops. Interesting history and excellent town walk with local volunteer guides, this activity is highly recommended. The house is well located for visiting other places of interest which are only a short drive away. A good choice, particularly for a group of adults.

The house is spacious and generally comfortable. It is superbly located. We were disappointed not to be allowed to use the fire especially as the spec says that initial fuel is included. The central heating kept us warm but we are used to a log fire in a sitting room and would have appreciated it on a cool September evening. The soap dispensers in the bedrooms were all empty and when we asked about it we were told that it was not a hotel. Thought the caretaking was a bit iffy. Some of the cupboards in the kitchen did not bear scrutiny, for example. The water pump was prone to banging and had to be switched on and off to cure it. We understand this was a recent problem and would be fixed soon. Notwithstanding, we had a happy family break.
