Great cottage, very homely. A lovely welcome pack was awaiting us which was unexpected but gratefully received. Lots to see and do in the local area. The local pub The Barley Mow is easily walkable and serves good food and offers a friendly welcome. Would recommend.

This cottage has some hidden gems, the main being the view from the two bedrooms as seen in the photo. Beautiful views of the hills and fields. The field across the small road from the cottage is home for five horses who like nothing more to eat as many carrots and apples as you can supply. If you don't like feeding the horses you can watch your friends feed them from the secure back garden, an absolute joy. The cottage has everything you need including plenty of glassware so there is no need to continually wash up. You can park 3 vehicles providing you don't block access to a lane close by. It was really nice to have en suite bathrooms especially with 3 sets of adults and a toddler. The location was good for getting to places of interest and a pub just 5 minutes down the road perfect!!

Superb holiday cottage. Spotless and very comfortable. Wonderful bedrooms with en suites. Lots of space throughout the house, Great location, close to many attractions such as Oswestry, Chirk castle, the Ironworks, and the Offa's Dyke. Walking distance to local shop/post office and pub which serves excellent food. Very peaceful, with lovely views and walking on your doorstep. I gave 9 out of 10 for comfort as I thought the duvet was rather heavy/bulky but that's my own opinion and I daresay anyone else would be fine with that. Would highly recommend this beautiful hoilday home.
