We had an fantastic time. The cottage is so peaceful. Everything you need is there, and it is a great spot for walking from. The only thing it does truly need is the outside doors and windows painting, they are very well weathered now. Also the roof needs repairs. There is a ridge tile missing, and some tiles are broken. I would love to return sometime, I can truly say we enjoyed every little bit of our holiday there.

We had a lovely relaxing break. Nice personal touches of homemade scones and Easter eggs for the children. The house is amazing and the garden is fabulous for children to play safely in and watch the sheep and lambs at the bottom of the garden. The only reason it wasn't a 10 was because the bedding and towels are quite old now but we would still happily go back. The Golden Lion in Osmotherley was fantastic and people in the village were friendly and helpful.

The cottage is great but is getting tired and needs some work doing to the property, fortunately it didn’t distract from our experience. The areas that needs looking at is as follows 1. The heating boiler was noisy when coming on and going off. 2. The towels are a bit hard not very soft. 3. Lighting from the car to the front door wasn’t adequate. 4. The Shower and the cubical wasn’t the best, the controls were stiff and the door doesn’t fit that well so water leaked out. 5. Generally the building could do with a fair bit of maintenance work carrying out on the property. We throughly enjoyed our stay and the experience of staying in a lovely cottage, unfortunately our standards have been set very high with other cottages we have stayed in so hence the comments above.
