Cottage very comfortable, well situated and restaurant at Thomas Wright House was a bonus. Would have scored all 10's but found the sofa a little low for OAP's.

The cottage was spacious, well-equipped, tidy and comfortable. We liked the added extras of the welcome pack, hot tub and log burner, with a fire already set and additional supplies provided. The location is quiet with walks from the doorstep and occasional buses during the day to nearby towns. Thomas Wright house in the village serves food daily and there are a variety of meals available. The Royal Oak pub is also close by and serves 1 real ale which is very reasonably priced. Overall a lovely place to stay. Keep an eye out for the barn owl early evening.

Cottage was of very high standard. Very chilled holiday as not much about but that was perfect for us . The local pub was within walking distance and very good quality. Staff were very helpful. The welcome pack was amazing! Very thoughtful and kind. Only down side was the stairs, steep and hubby injured his toe. Also wood provided for log burner was damp and didn't always burn effectively.

Absolutely wonderful, couldn't ask for any more, the local people were extremely friendly and welcoming. The cottage itself is well equipped and cosy with its log burner, so much so we didn't want to leave. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, superb in every way. Will be booking again next year
