Amazing place. Really lovely and cosy cottage. The hosts were fab and left a welcome pack which was really thoughtful. Quiet and pretty location. Lovely comfy beds. The place was spotless. The hot tub is lovely and private and the log burner was a real luxury. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Thank you so much.

First time we've stayed in a cottage but definitely hit the jackpot with this one we wanted cosy, romantic and low maintenance and this is exactly what we got. Bit of a drive out to where we wanted to visit but the accommodation made up for it. Chilled evening in the hottub but cosying up infront of the real log fire with a takeaway perfect. Also to add most comfiest bed ever!!

Told on morning of trip been double booked put us up in a room with hot tub first night then moved to a shared room with sofa bed second night, not ideal. The staff and manager did look after us with food and drink though and couldn't do enough for us they were all excellent

Went with family (two adults, 1 infant and a toddler). This cottage is located down a short track and is behind a walled entrance with a gate. Nice and quiet is the way to describe this cottage. The hot tub was awesome and well used by us. The kitchen had everything you could need (inc a dishwasher & washer/dryer). Log burner in the lounge helped take the chill off on the colder nights (supplementing a good heating system). Overall we were 100% satisfied and will look to come back within the next 12 months. The Beamish Museum was well worth a visit (getting free returns for the next 12 months). Location was ideal for the A1M with major supermarkets within a 10 min drive.

Had a fantastic weeks stay. The old hall cottage number 1 was perfect, comfy and a lovely little gem of a place. Would definitely stay again in the future.
