Saddlers cottage was amazing. We couldn’t believe that within an hour and a half from Chelmsford city centre we found ourselves in a rural setting. Although we were in the heart of the Kent countryside, within a few miles in each direction we had access to Folkestone, Dover and Deal, with their beautiful beaches and quaint towns. The cottage was immaculate and the location was stunning!! It was fantastic to sit in the hot tub on an evening and look up and see the starry skies. The host, Mark, was very friendly and on hand if we needed anything. We will definitely be returning.

One of the best lodges I've ever stay in. Just beautiful. The owners are very lovely and helpful. Also the pub the owners recommend was great. We will be returning. Thank you so much.

The most beautiful place to stay if you love nature and the country side. Nothing but fields around you. Mark and sue went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed; even lending us a baby carrier as we forgot ours! Being able to relax in the hot tub with the most surreal settings was a added bonus! We would definitely love to return again

Beautiful little getaway perfect for those looking to leave their mental lives behind for some R and R. Great walks to explore... spent every night in hot tub watching the sun go down :)

Beautiful cottage, very clean and well equipped. Little touches which made a huge difference, like milk, tea, coffee, sugar & biscuits. The views are stunning from the hot tub and having this after a day of walking was bliss. The cottage is in a very peaceful location with the owners horse and chickens roaming in the fields. The only downside being that it isn't close to a local shop, but the owners thought of this by leaving the little extras for us. The pub about a mile away is very good for food and even does a take away menu! We will be back!
