If you looking for a peaceful, "get away from it all" holiday in deep countryside Olaf's cottage hits the spot. No wi-fi (hurrah!) but it is well equipped and comfortable. The local village has a good pub and lovely cafe. Beach and woods on your doorstep. Enjoy spotting the hares and deer.

The cottage is in a beautiful location: it is secluded and tranquil. The nearby village is delightful, and there are lots of things to do in the area. Unfortunately, the cottage itself is in poor condition with tatty carpets, worn kitchen floor, very dated decor, bathroom, and furniture. The house did not feel cozy at all. In terms of cleaning, there was no vacuum cleaner, and the only thing we had to clean up with is a yard brush and a coal shovel. In the kitchen, there were two small vegetable knives to prepare food with, and not even a bread knife. Poorly equipped throughout, and it felt like the owners left whatever they had no use for, rather than getting nice things for the guests. Overall, we will not return to this cottage, although will do to the beautiful area.
