This is the 4th time we have been here, it’s great if you want a quite location with easy access to the Lake District, the hot tub and sauna were a hit with everyone. The children especially enjoyed a trip round the farm seeing all the animals. We will definitely be back.

Brilliant cottage, very spacious a lot bigger than we expected the pictures didn't do it just, ce. The owners were lovely and helpful and the bottles of wine and chocolates were a lovely gesture. The sauna and hot tub were amazing and really made our holiday. The only slight negative is there is no WiFi and the TV needs upgrading in the lounge as couldn't connect our phones etc via hdmi. Everything else about this place is amazing. We will be back in the future x

It was very welcoming to have flowers, fruit & cider to arrive to but I think that a lot of t l c was needed....the carpets needed a deep clean, there was mould in our shower. The sofas need an upgrade. The crockery could do with replacing as there were a lot of chipped items and could have been matching so could the wine glasses. The jacuzzi was really lovely. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were spacious. The leaflets needed to be upto dated as most of them were from 2012!!!!!!!!!!

Although we enjoyed our holiday we felt that the cottage could have been more modern as far as technology (no WiFi and outdated TV)goes and more information regarding the accommodation and facilities. Considering all this the cottage has great potential, brilliant location and very spacious.

My husband and I stayed here with my elderly mother and her friend. We chose the property as it is all on one level and the bathrooms were easily accessible for my mother and her friend. We enjoyed a peaceful and picturesque stay here.
