My husband and I stayed here with my elderly mother and her friend. We chose the property as it is all on one level and the bathrooms were easily accessible for my mother and her friend. We enjoyed a peaceful and picturesque stay here.

Really spacious and comfortable, could do with a few lines about where to find things and how to operate the various things around the house. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

We really loved our stay at Oaklands . The cottage is very well equipped and much better than other cottages we have stayed in the past. We especially enjoyed the use of the Spa bath. We hope to make a return visit to the cottage again in the future.

Great space and a well equipped kitchen. Property decoration dated but this wasn't an issue to us having twin boys that are just under 2. One thing that was disappointing was the poor repair of the bridge across the pond and the fact that the lovely grassed bit towards the back of the property wasn't secure with gates/fence. There was a post there for a gate but no gate. If we had visited in the summer this would have been more of an issue to us as we wouldn't have been able to relax with the boys outside. This building has so much potential to be a fantastic holiday space with a little TLC.
