Would highly recommend Oak House as a fantastic holiday getaway. Its position gives the most amazing views of the changing skies over the hills and is quite simply breathtaking. The house itself is spotless and is equipped with everything that you could need for your stay. The welcome and personal touches from the hosts are first rate. It provides an ideal base to explore North Wales.

Our very first impression when we arrived was... 'wow' this is going to be great. We were met with a very warm welcome and made to feel comfortable straight away. The welcome tray was very much appreciated, as was the welcome plaque on entering with our names on. Spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was at hand, not to mention the amazing view from the floor to ceiling window where my partner proposed. A truly beautiful place and we will certainly be returning.

We stayed over during the Easter bank holiday. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. We really liked the upside down living idea. The view from the living room was amazing. The welcome pack was very thoughtful. It had bread , eggs, milk , different types of tea and coffee and our most favourite was the Welsh cakes. Jill had even kept some Easter eggs for my children.

Everything about this cottage has been designed to ensure a comfortable and relaxed holiday. The equipment is the best possible, and nothing is lacking. The welcome pack on the kitchen table has to be seen to be believed! We felt warm and comfortable and completely at home. Jill and Geoff are to be congratulated for the thoughtful way in which this cottage has been set up. We give this cottage full marks and we hope to return.

Beautiful cottage with fantastic views (great to sit with a glass of wine in the evening). Spotlessly clean! Beds were so comfy too. Jill obviously takes great pride in trying to please her guests, she’s welcoming and not too far away if needed. We loved the local quiet walks locally and walked miles with the children, what a bonus they didn’t even moan or grumble because there was so much to look at. Cottage was warm, hot water plentiful and we would definitely recommend xx
