We have just got back from "Nuthatch" having spent Xmas week there (22nd-29th December). Our party comprised 6 Adults, 3 children and a small dog. It was to mark my 70th Birthday and enjoy a relaxing break after a really tough year for all my family. It was wonderful !. It suited our requirements perfectly and the whole family enjoyed the facilities on the LME such as the Art Spa swimming pools, the playground and the football enclosure. We did many walks and chatted which is a luxury in todays high speed world. We loved the log burner which was great. The property was well equipped. Nice touches when we got there - a bottle of bubbly, chocolate and even a welcoming present for the dog. We wandered around Cirencester, had a nice meal on Christmas Eve at "The Wheatsheaf" in Oaksey and popped into "The Bakers Arms" for a drink. Cycle hire was quite expensive. If we had had spare capacity in the cars we would definitely have taken cycles down because there are some lovely cycle routes which are mainly flat and well surfaced.

A fantastic place to stay, out of season we would go, probably very busy in school holidays. Lovely and peaceful, wonderful walks and great wildlife. Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nuthatch. The house was lovely and had everything we could have wanted and the swimming pool was great and so convenient and the children loved it. Of course the lovely weather added to the experience. The only thing negative thing for us is that it would have been better to have had some single beds instead of all doubles but other than that fabulous. We will certainly think about coming back again soon. I cant add a photo as my phone is so old and wont allow me to do this. Sorry.

We had a superb family (10 people) celebration in Nuthatch. Great touches like a chilled bottle of Prosecco and a handful of dog biscuits for our pet. The whole house is equipped to a great standard, extremely comfortable. With a 5 bed house that included a room with bunk beds, it would have suited our family to have had a twin bed room instead of 4 double beds. My only "niggle" was the decking, it should have been brushed. I appreciate the trees spilling their "bits and pieces" but it took me 15/20 mins to make it clean and tidy and when we left after 3 nights it still looked clean and tidy.

Lovely weekend spent with friends. The weather was perfect, as were the amenities - outdoor pool, indoor pool, bike rides, lovely walks and trails, local pubs nearby. Nuthatch was very well equipped with a lovely outdoor area and lots of glasses & mugs !!!!!!
