would not recommend nightingales. the beds didn't look like they had been changed, kitchen equipment was greasy and sparsely equipped. upholstery was grey and shabby.

The accommodation was very basic and tired. I had clean sheets thrust in my hand and I had to change our beds which meant me having to take off the sheets from the previous people that had been staying there. There was not a lot of information of local facilities.. However the owner and the family were very friendly and it was lovely overlooking the fields and seeing the horses.

A lovely few days down time, just me and my dog. Nightingales is in a lovely setting and there is all sorts of things close by that kept us occupied. I'd recommend it.
