A great location in a very peaceful setting. Our holiday has been wonderful and has been helped by the owner who is so kind, helpful and a mind of information on places to visit. Cottage is spacious and comfortable and we felt very much at home.

We came back feeling very relaxed after our week at the Lodge. It provides spacious and comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. As others have mentioned, the friendly owner is a real asset. Without ever intruding, he made sure that we were ok and and that we knew the best places to visit, suggesting ideas based on his extensive knowledge of the area. There is plenty to see and do and the Lodge is very well placed. In addition, he has a fascinating garden which we were free to explore. We also enjoyed our conversations with him which were equally interesting!

Lovely, clean, comfortable cottage. The Owner is a real gentleman. He is helpful, and very knowledgeable about the history of the historical places and area around. Good area for Shopping, Sight-seeing, Walking, and Birdwatching. Would highly recommend this cottage.
