Nell’s cottage is in a beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of towns and roads. There is wild life all around you, while sitting in the garden we saw woodpeckers every day, squirrels, rabbits, Barnacle geese and sheep on the hillside, and the Lake District mountains in the background. It is only a short drive into Dalton for all the amenities, shops, restaurants, pubs, etc, The cottage itself has every possible thing you could want for a holiday, very clean and comfortable with well kept gardens. The owners were very welcoming and there if you needed them. We would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for somewhere to stay in this area.

Had a totally relaxing week at Nell's Cottage. Lovely to sit in the conservatory and watch the wildlife come and go and curl up in front of the woodburner at night. Some lovely peaceful beaches within 10 minutes and easy access to the lakes too. Missing it already!
