Had a lovely week at Instow. The location was brilliant for us as we had sea kayaks and at the right tide time, put in was really simple. Good restaurants on the doorstep too.

Lovely holiday accommodation,so close to the beach and pubs. Would highly recommend, only drawback was the local shop was rather expensive and supermarket was a few miles away.

After a week away we're normally ready for home, not this time. The setting of Myrtle loft is just perfect. Tucked away from the front with the beautiful private garden, Moppet the squeaky cat, the 5 fluffy chickens and Hippo the dog for occasional company. The owners are friendly and chatty if you engage them but respectfully absent otherwise. The hot tub would not have been on our wish list but honestly it was lovely. Instow itself has two lovely pubs, a restaurant, a fantastic little cafe/bar shack, local ice cream huts, a hotel serving drinks on the front and a fab' deli called Johns. Best feature by far though is the miles of clean sandy beach, a haven for local conscientious dog walkers. Easy walks to Bideford town and Westward Ho from the ferry crossing but don't come back over the A39 bridge its not suitable.
