We had a great stay at Mullions Cottage. The cottage itself was bigger than we were expecting and very comfortable, and the outdoor space also exceeded expectations. I think the photos could do with updating to reflect this. Both of the two bathrooms were nice and the basin in each room is useful too. Only thing I would say is that we struggled cooking for 6 people with the pots / pans available, as they were all very small. The location is brilliant.

Absolutely loved our long weekend in Mullions cottage. Can't fault the location, can barely fault the cottage! It was beautiful, clean and very cosy - just what we needed after long snowy/ wet walks. The cottage us huge, has ample room for 6 people and the pictures do not do it justice - it's gorgeous! My very tiny negative was the lack of little comfort touches that we've had at most other cottages we've stayed at, little basics so we didn't need to go straight to the local shop (such as a pint of milk and some tea/ sugar). The cottage had everything else we could need, including dog towels which was a fantastic touch on such a muddy wet weekend. Can't recommend enough and we're already looking for another weekend to stay here!!

Email confusing. States don't come before 5pm, leave at 9am. At the end of the email it says don't come before 4pm leave before 10am! We txed the house keeper to say we will be arriving around 4 ish. Text back saying , we are rushing to get the cottage ready for you. It's been redecorated and refurbished. Don't come before 5pm. The cottage was freezing on arrival. 3 logs !! ( The owner gave us a bag as it was gone 9pm and it was still freezing). We went to The George to warm up. Would highly recommend this pub. Sunday lunch was delicious. The cottage is in a good spot. It had been decorated as the paint pots were still in the hallway. The place needs a deep clean. I did point this out to the owners. Under the dated dirty sofas in the lounge there was dirt, fluff and remains of someone's toe nails!!! Brought to the attention of the house keeper. The down stairs bath tap didn't work. Niether did the upstairs shower. Not the cheapest of cottages. But it all didn't dampen the weekend. We celebrated a 70th birthday and a 61st wedding anniversary.
