Mulberry Cottage (ref W44198) and Mulberry House (ref 30325) are located next door to each other, and are situated in the heart of beautiful Lytham St Annes. Benefiting from off road parking and being right on the doorstep of all the town’s shops, bars and restaurants, this is the ideal holiday base from which to explore all that the popular coastal town of Lytham and the surrounding area has to offer. The properties provide comfortable accommodation with all the comforts guests would expect from a holiday home. One of the most popular and cosmopolitan towns along the Fylde Coast, and voted one of the best places to live in the UK, Lytham is perfect for families who like to be active. It is a great area for walking and cycling, and there is a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities, which includes 5 championship golf courses, as well as facilities for sailing, bowling and swimming. Due to its proximity to the reeds and marshes of the Ribble Estuary, the area is also popular with birdwatchers and wildlife lovers. As a complete contrast, the bright lights of Blackpool, with its famous tower, Pleasure Beach, zoo, Sea Life Centre and Sandcastle Waterpark, is just 9 miles away. Other towns worth visiting on the north west coast include Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood, whose designer shopping outlet is very popular.     Standard of cleanliness is lacking and overtime this could become a serious issue very quickly. The house was not hoovered ahead of our arrival, the cupboards were dirty, there are limited cooking utensils and there aren't any cleaning products provided. The bed linen was so creased that it did not give you a great impression. Location of house is great with lots of space. For those taking dogs, there is no grass in the garden and we found this to be an issue for our dog as we had to walk him in the front garden on a lead as the perimeter is not secure.

    3 generations enjoyed a great Easter week in Lytham.,All 10 of us had room to spread out and come together in the house and outside. On the one sunny day we had lunch in the courtyard. The light in the kitchen amazing!

    This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Mulberry House and it is just perfect. A beautiful house with every comfort you could ever wish for and a fantastic kitchen, a true home from home. The location is great and same as last time we never used the car as everything is on the doorstep. We had a fantastic time again in this lovely house.

    Absolutely gorgeous house for an extended family stay. Every comfort possible. We all loved it. Simon, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We hope to stay again in 2018.

    Was absolutely superb, have already booked again. The house is amazing with everything you could possibly need. Great location, loved it.

    If this cottage were better equipped and maintained, it would be pretty perfect. But the kitchen was badly equipped and a lot of the fixtures and fittings were shoddy. It also needed decorating and general TLC. The WiFi doesn’t work in the front room which is an obvious flaw. It could be brilliant as it is a lovely space and location.

    Excellent base for a holiday. The house was extremely well equipped for a family of 8, although being so close to so many restaurants and take-aways it was nice to have a break from cooking so much. The train station was easily accessible and we were able to leave the cars on the drive for the week which was luxury. Great play parks around for the children and lots to keep adults and children alike entertained in the local area. Our only comment is that it would be useful to have a tumble dryer. Otherwise brilliantly equipped house.

    We were 2 families sharing with 4 young children, there was plenty of room for us all. The location was fantastic with so many shops a few minutes away and only 10 miles to Blackpool. Can't fault the house for cleanliness, we gave it an 8 for equipment because we found the cooker and microwave rather technical for us. The owner had provided an instruction booklet and other instructions in fairness - we just wanted to heat some milk up in the microwave and couldn't be bothered to read everything. Would definitely recommend staying here and we loved Lytham.
