Offering cosy accommodation for couples with plenty of rustic charm (with low beams and stone fire surrounds), they occupy either end of a row of three in a conservation area, affording lovely views towards Swanage Bay and many excellent walks along coastal paths or through charming villages, three inns lie within a mile and a half. Swanage, 2½ miles, offers a lovely sandy beach together with many other attractions, including shops, restaurants and inns, a theatre and an extensive range of sports facilities. We really enjoyed our stay at Mulberry Cottage, this was our first time to the cottage but we have visited the area previously. It provided a good base from which to explore the area and is ideally situated, close to Swanage but also with good easy travel connections to other lovely locations in Dorset. Plenty of heating devices as well as the log burner meant we were comfortable despite the slightly chilly autumn weather. We will definitely make a return visit in future.

Gorgeous little cottage in a stunning part of the world. Perfect for two people and their dog. Endless walks on the doorstep and choice of local pubs. Fabulous weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and the beautiful area around it. The cottage was cold, although we did arrive on one of the coldest days, once we got the log burner going it was very cosy. I do think in this day and age you shouldn’t be charged for electricity used and it should be in with the overall price. The cottage is very quaint and has everything you need in it. I’m only 5’3 and managed to bump my head several times, whereas my husband who is 6’3 didn’t! Facilities around are good and some lovely pubs with excellent food. We would definitely like to return, but in warmer weather.

Good fun cottage - somewhat lcking in maintenance in places (eg. lime scale restricted shower head). Nice quiet location.
