For sightseeing, memorable days out can be had at the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, the Roman Caerleon, and Goodrich, Raglan or Eastnor Castles. Golf is possible at Hereford, Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, and racing found at Chepstow and Cheltenham. The famous book town of Hay-on-Wye is reached after a beautiful drive through The Golden Valley.
After a busy day exploring all that Herefordshire has to offer, enjoy an evening dining in the garden, watching the sun set over the glorious countryside. On the cottage’s ground floor, beyond the entrance porch, you will find the kitchen, with its beautiful wooden work surfaces, food preparation island, and the easy-to-use, hard-to-beat electric Everhot cooker. The kitchen is well equipped for making casseroles, cakes, and tray bakes.
