The narrow streets have an array of shops, pubs, and restaurants, where locally caught fish is a menu favourite! Take a leisurely stroll to East Looe Beach or take in the coastal views from Hannafore Point across to Looe Island, now a marine nature reserve, teaming with a plethora of wildlife. A trip to Polperro, just a short distance to the east, is a must. Long associated with tales of smuggling long ago, this beautiful port village has an unspoilt feel with pretty cottages, of all shapes and sizes.
Catch a train on the Looe Valley Railway Line to the ancient market town of Liskeard, through stunning scenery, woodland and rolling hills, or visit the marvel that is The Eden Project, an amazing world beneath huge Biomes, including the world’s largest indoor rainforest. The Southern Cornish coastline has many beaches, coves and inlets to explore, and if you are lucky…you may just spot a dolphin or two!
