A lovely barn, welcoming friendly hosts. Cream sponge, wine, bowl of fruit and apple juice from their own orchard, left for our enjoyment. Very nice village, good butchers and shop just across the road. Views from the back of the barn are amazing. Plenty of good walks with the dog,. Go through the church yard into the fields. Very good pub with good food across the road too. Nothing I could think of to fault. Excellent. N.T. gardens and coast within easy reach also.

We had the best long weekend at the barn. The owners Lynda and Richard are lovely, the live next door but leave you to it apart from a lovely welcome. Lynda made us a gorgeous Victoria sponge and some apple juice, there was also tea, coffee and milk provided. The barn has everything you need. Comfy and cute living accommodation and bed plus a lovely shower with shampoos etc available to use. The garden is lovely and we were allowed to use the orchard with our dog Archie, he loved it. We bought some pottery before we left from Sally, the owner’s daughter who uses the other part of the barn to work...lovely stuff! The barn is just across the road from the rose and crown...a lovely little pub with fab food, welcoming staff and it’s dog friendly too. We would also recommend The Wheel for Sunday lunch, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay in this beautifully designed cottage in Mount House Barn which has been done up to a very high standard, with a lot of attention to detail and the comfort of guests in mind. We were made to feel very welcome and really appreciated the home-made cake and apple juice, as well as the wine. We would love to come back and enjoy the local walks in better weather.
