Monandavan is a traditional holiday cottage occupying a secluded spot with views over the fields in front towards the hills in the distance. It has a lovely garden and no other buildings in sight, apart from it’s own old farm outbuildings. It is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend a lovely holiday getting away from it all.
Monandavan offers cosy accommodation for up to six guests. There is the convenience of a ground floor en-suite master bedroom, then two twin rooms and a bathroom on the first floor. There is a fully fitted kitchen and a lounge/diner with comfy sofas and a warming log burner. There is plenty of space for car parking and an outhouse providing additional storage space for logs, bikes and fishing gear as well as a utility/drying room.
When staying here you are within the Cairngorms National Park and Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve. The owners will be glad to arrange a fishing license for the local lochs. Local walks will allow you to explore Pictish Stones, the Burn O’Vat and much more. You will be staying in the heart of Royal Deeside, with Balmoral Castle only 20 minutes away. The village of Dinnet is 1.5 miles away and includes the Loch Kinord Hotel restaurant and bar and a lovely pizza restaurant. The larger town of Boyne is 6 miles away and has a wider range of pubs, shops and restaurants.
