Millstones is definitely the largest cottage we have stayed in. It is exceptionally well equipped and was perfectly presented & clean when we arrived. Owners on hand and helpful if needed. There are some very nice touches that show thought has gone in to making your stay as comfortable as possible including books, dvd’s, dog treats and a spare lead....just in case. Location is lovely, whole area very dog friendly and with basics available at local shop & a very nice pub all within easy walking distance we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks stay. Lots to see and do in wider area too

What a wonderful cottage. Tranquil. Quiet. Wonderful location. Stunning walks. Wonderful pub (exceptional food). Well equipped. Comfortable. Warm. We had a wonderful week and didn't want to leave. No phone signal and occasionally slow/patchy Wi-Fi was a bonus to us.

Fabulous location for a proper "get away from it all location". The cottage itself is nice and in mid February was nice and warm. The cottage had all the essentials needed, the one and only downside was the mattress appeared quite old and wasn't very comfortable and could do with an upgrade. It was great for long walks, visiting the beach with its lovely pub (The Anchor Inn, nice staff, great views from their rear garden), trip to Bridport was nice, fab little micropub called 'Pursuit of Hoppiness' definitely worth a visit if you like real ales/cider and they give a Camra discount. If you want to escape the city life and the daily grind, its a perfect location. The owners were friendly and pleasant and had fresh eggs for sale daily which was nice. Was also nice to have fresh milk and biscuits for us when we arrived.

We had a wonderful winter mini break at Millstones. Comfortable and quiet. Fantastic walks on the South West Coast Path which is a few hundred yards away. The Anchor Inn became our local - very atmospheric, food good but a bit pricey. Spectacular sunsets while standing on the beach, often on our own. On our last evening we cooked our landlord Ian's freshly caught Dover Sole for supper, and took some home for the following evening - what a delicious bonus.
