This delightful property lies in the grounds of Cattell’s Mill, a 19th century windmill, close to the university city of Cambridge.

Located in the village of Willingham, Cambridgeshire, this comfortable one bedroom cottage is in an ideal location for couples wanting to explore the local area. The historic university city of Cambridge is only 9 miles away where you can enjoy a punt along the River Cam, take in the magnificent architecture of the university buildings, visit museums or spend the day shopping in the many department stores, high street shops and individual boutiques. The city of Ely is 15 miles away, famous for its stunning cathedral and the location where Oliver Cromwell resided for 10 years. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is well worth a day out with its historical accounts of the 1st and 2nd World Wars. A comfortable cottage close to good transport links including the Guided Busway and Park and Ride. The owners provided a very friendly and unobtrusive welcome and information about the local area and pubs etc.

Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends . We were particularly pleased with the public transport system and the ease of getting to places . The cottage was very well equipped and there was lots of area with which to exercise our dogs . The only negative was the meal we had in the village pub was not to our liking . It was so bad we thought the need to give it a bad review on the website !

We stayed here as we had a wedding party locally and so it was conveniently situated. Until six months ago we lived in the area so were able to visit friends and family during our stay. The hosts were there for any query we had and the scones and welcome pack were very much appreciated after our drive.
