This delightful property lies in the grounds of Cattell’s Mill, a 19th century windmill, close to the university city of Cambridge.

Millers Rest is situated in a unique location overlooking Cattell’s Mill, a windmill built in 1828 and adjacent to the owners’ home. Located in the village of Willingham, Cambridgeshire, this comfortable one bedroom cottage is in an ideal location for couples wanting to explore the local area. The historic university city of Cambridge is only 9 miles away where you can enjoy a punt along the River Cam, take in the magnificent architecture of the university buildings, visit museums or spend the day shopping in the many department stores, high street shops and individual boutiques. The city of Ely is 15 miles away, famous for its stunning cathedral and the location where Oliver Cromwell resided for 10 years. The Imperial War Museum at Duxford is well worth a day out with its historical accounts of the 1st and 2nd World Wars. Make the most of the beautiful countryside by walking and cycling through it or visit Fen Drayton Lakes which is a haven for birdlife around the lakes and traditional riverside meadows, next to the River Great Ouse. Love this cottage, the surroundings etc. Its well equipped with everything you need. The only niggle we had was the very noisy boiler. We had to switch the tv up really loud to hear it! This would really only affect people renting in the colder months.could need checking for an airlock! We will definitely be back next year.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your feedback. About the boiler noise, we have now had a new super quiet boiler installed.

Eye-catching cottage next to amazing (huge) windmill. Owners nearby very pleasant and naturally proud with a tour inside the mill. Stunning Cambridge, beautiful Ely & historical St. Ives within easy reach so plenty to see and do. Pets allowed (country lane outside), scones very welcoming, brilliant weather so a wonderful week's break.

Very comfortable and excelled in storing our bikes safely!! We loved being so near to the guided busway both for using the Bus into Cambridge and for using the adjacent cycle path in either direction. There is so much to do with very little hassle!

A comfortable cottage close to good transport links including the Guided Busway and Park and Ride. The owners provided a very friendly and unobtrusive welcome and information about the local area and pubs etc.
