Welcome to Millbrook. This detached bungalow is situated on a no-through road in the popular hamlet of Shitterton, on the edge of Bere Regis. It is the ideal base to explore the world famous Jurassic Coast and wide range of attractions Dorset has to offer. Stepping into Millbrook, you are welcomed in via a large hallway and separate toilet with space to hang up the coats and muddy boots after exploring the countryside. May’s Wood is approximately 5 minutes away and is a place of natural beauty which has been designed for locals to enjoy the relaxing walks among the woodlands and open green land. Further afield you can take a walk along the coastline where you will find landmarks like Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. This is one trip where you do not want to forget the camera. If you are looking to venture further afield you can visit the historic town of Dorchester, where you will find local restaurants, pubs, shops, and museums. Poole Harbour is approximately a 25-minute drive. This is the second largest natural harbour in the world and home to the famous Brownsea Island where you need to keep an eye out for the red squirrels. Regular pleasure boat trips are offered around the harbour and to Brownsea Island. Back at the property Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum are just minutes away, and local attractions such as Sculpture by the Lakes are a beautiful day out where you can either relax around the lakes or explore the stunning gardens.
