We had a most wonderful stay at Mill Haven - lovely house with everything we needed. We felt right at home there. Dunster village is so quaint, & so pretty, with independent shops, fab restaurants & tea rooms within walking distance. We’ll be returning in the not too distant future 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Mill Haven, mostly, the situation, size of the property, nice bathrooms and four good sized bedrooms, and especially the play room were very much appreciated. The down side was the parking to the property was very 'tight' getting in and out and very narrow lane to the property. Also kitchen was rather small and plates and bowls provided very large, it was difficult feeding the grandchildren using giant sized bowls, also the dishwasher was not large enough to take all six bowls and anything else, so easily rectified by supplying smaller bowls and side plates. The shelving in the cupboards was so high I couldn't reach the middle and top shelf which was frustrating (I am 5'4", average height), so a little stepping stool would be helpful. No instructions provided for anything, so had to have a call out on how to work the oven, also two door handles fell off and the tumble dryer wasn't working, although Carolyn got a handyman out the next day to fix them. The two beds downstaits were rather hard, though the upstairs beds were more comfortable. It is a lovely property, with nice views from the windows, with a few little tweeks as suggested, the score could be 9/10 - one mark off for the difficult parking for larger cars (I should imagine a small family sized cars would be fine). Carolyn very helpful and keen to get things sorted.

Beautiful place to stay, suited our needs as ground floor bedrooms important. Lots of walks directly from the house so didn't have to travel anywhere except for shopping. Loved the the castle and it's grounds.

Spot on. Great location, spaceous for the three of us and our dog, well equipped and very clean. Downstairs bedroom and bathroom was just what was needed for our elderly mum. Good decor in pristine condition, strong WiFi - top marks! Will definitely stay there again.

The Mill was great and in a lovely position beside Dunster House perfect for long walks. Kids will love it the playroom is very well equipped (even our big boys spent time in there) also play park and football field just around the corner, walk past the play park onto Exmoor we saw two herds of deer. Magical weekend away.

Fabulous location in Dunster-didn’t need to move the cars the whole weekend! Very well equipped all round, and very clean. Games room could do with modernising, and maybe a stair gate, as stairs were a little on the slippy side for our toddlers..... Apart from that, a brilliant weekend and would stay again!!

Lovely homely and spacious cottage in a fantastic quiet location very near to Dunster high street. The little touches and ornaments gave the cottage a lot of character too. Liked the comfortable living area, conservatory and garden. Games room was handy for our teenager and the dart board was a nice suprise. Very happy how safe it was for our little dog. Gallox bridge and a nice playground were just down the road. Would like to come back in the summer, definately. Would benefit from smart tv's and the beds in the downstairs bedrooms were a little uncomfy but slept alright so can't really complain.

Had a fantastic three nights at this charming cottage for my birthday at the beginning of February. Online pictures don't do it justice. Such a lovely characteristic, warm and cosy cottage with everything supplied for a comfortable stay. Carolyn, our host was so kind and accommodating. Only downside - had to keep dog on lead as garden isn't fully enclosed. Dunster village is full of atmosphere, had some great meals in the local pubs and all are dog friendly. Our favourite was The Foresters Arms, only two minutes walk from the cottage. Dunster Castle and gardens are absolutely worth a visit. We definitely hope to return to Mill Haven in the future.
