It was a great cottage. Very peaceful and quiet. If you have dogs the garden is very secure with wall and strong fencing. Cottage very comfortable & has everything you need. Car parking space a few feet along in a secure, fenced area. Getting into the lane where the cottage was from the road is a bit tricky but it can be done! We have a long wheel base vehicle and we managed the turn. Welcome pack- milk & biscuits & vase of flowers. Phone in the cottage. Owner rang at end of stay to ask if we enjoyed our stay.

A great base for the area within easy walking distance of the otters sanctuary, steam railway and Dart Rock (indoor climbing). Well equipped with a nice welcome from the owners. We visited in our February half term (not the local half term & unfortunately many local places which had opened for the week had closed again on the Sunday) but still found enough to keep the kids busy. The cottage was warm & cosy. It’s on a narrow street (tight for the car) with neighbours close by. Shops such as a coop are not far. Found a good dog walk up to the old church ruins.

Lovely large cottage, fully equipped and warm. Downside was the lack of storage space in kitchen for food, dryer not working on the washing machine, and sofas past their best. The bed was very comfortable and adequate hanging space in wardrobe. Maybe a night light on the landing.
