Lovely cottage, great base for seeing all the attractions South Devon has to offer. Buckfastleigh is close to main roads. Steam railway was wonderful, pubs are friendly and welcoming. Cottage is fully equipped with everything you require. Milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and a big pile of Kit Kats. Plenty of hot water.

Lovely warm cosy cottage, well equipped. Nice secure garden for dogs, catches the sun. There is a parking space which is fine, as long as your car is not huge. Owner very helpful, left welcoming chocolate biscuits, milk and flowers.

The cottage on arrival was dirty, I had to clean it and clean up other peoples dog poo bags, there was no heating for a few days and it was cold, we did phone and report it, it was supposed to have been fixed but the down stairs was cold when we turned it off and the upstairs heating wouldn't go off, it says you have a wash/dryer I did a wash load put the dryer on and the load came out wet it wasn't working and they didn't bother to tell us, I phoned and told them they said they knew but the bloke was on holiday, we had no way of drying them, and it still wasn't fixed two weeks later on leaving. we couldn't sit out due to it being dirty and over grown, the other sad thing is that there is no warning about the car place for you to park in, that you need a cover to protect your car, our new cars paintwork as been damaged even though we got it washed straight away. A positive about the cottage is that its well equipped when everything is working.

It was a great cottage. Very peaceful and quiet. If you have dogs the garden is very secure with wall and strong fencing. Cottage very comfortable & has everything you need. Car parking space a few feet along in a secure, fenced area. Getting into the lane where the cottage was from the road is a bit tricky but it can be done! We have a long wheel base vehicle and we managed the turn. Welcome pack- milk & biscuits & vase of flowers. Phone in the cottage. Owner rang at end of stay to ask if we enjoyed our stay.
