Gorgeous home from home holiday cottage . Spotless clean, fully equipped with kitchen equipment , DVDs & games and an endless of logs for the wood burning fire. Slight downside was heating pump was quite noisy through the night next to twin room and under master bedroom, but soon got used to it. But would definitely recommend this place and would return myself for another holiday .

A wonderful place to spend a relaxing family Christmas. The accommodation is family-friendly, spacious & set in beautiful surroundings. The Christmas tree, holly decorations & Woodburner made it a lovely location for the festive season.

This is a superb holiday home with plenty space for up to six people staying. It is by far the quietest holiday home I have ever stayed in - with superb views across open countryside on all four sides. The pictures do not do justice - it is spotless with furniture of great quality - kitchen is modern in both units and appliances, suede leather three seater, two seater and single seater - all lazy boy style, bedrooms are big - two doubles and one twin - doubles upstairs with shared toilet/shower room. Within striking distance of walks in the Angus glens, trip down to Dundee - check out the V&A museum just opened, or even a bit further to enjoy St Andrews. Staying here was a joy - on the working Lour farm - peaceful, quiet, well-presented and spacious - highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Meadowgreen Farmhouse as it was fully equipped and all the rooms and facilities were first class. We have stayed at several cottages and we rate Meadowgreen the best we have been to. The location suited me but my wife would rather be closer to the shops when we are on holiday.

Had a delightful week at Meadowgreen Farmhouse, the cottage was spotless and beautifully appointed. The welcome pack was delicious, the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. The only downside was that even with the proper postcode it was a little tricky to find at first but soon found a shortcut in to Forfar. Forfar itself is a lovely little town with lots of good places to eat, drink and shop. The cottage is located in a very secluded rural setting which was a real joy.
