The location is simply perfect for people looking for pure nature, silence, privacy and who want to be away from it all. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring all North - Scotland from Cape Wrath and John o Grotes down to Ullapool and even Inverness.

Our second Spring visit to March cottage. It is the most wonderful cottage - well large house really - spotlessly clean and furnished with good quality fixtures and fittings and everything you need for your stay. The glen road runs in front of the cottage but is very quiet with just the odd car going by, you can have the glen all to yourselves. This time we had an ospreys nest, a buzzards nest and redstarts nesting. Golden eagles were a regular sighting. The East, West and North coasts are within easy reach. You will be surrounded by red and sika deer in high numbers. The sika deer were having their calves when we were there. Just wonderful. Everyone was extremely welcoming. We hope to return to this special cottage in the glen.

Beautifully located March Cottage is a great place to stay, extremely peaceful, clean and comfortable. Lots of dears walking around cottage and flying eagles make this place very unique, and definitely worth to visit. Cottage is very spacious, with comfortable beds and very well equipped kitchen, only reason why we rating cottage 9 not 10 is that, there is lack of entertainment for rainy days, there is some DVD's for kids, nothing for aduls, Internet have good speed about 20mbs but is limited also there is no information what the limit is, so you can't watch netflix or any other streaming media, if you like you can watch creepy freeview. in this price range i would expect at least basic sky package or unlimited internet. but we was ready for this, so it was not a problem. Great cottage highly recommended

Our stay at March Cottage was simply stunning. The location was fantastic and the accommodation exceeded our expectations with the quality of the fittings as well as everything you could possibly want or need for your stay (except a corkscrew!!) We saw wildlife from the cottage which included deer and flying fish. This property is recommended for anyone wanting to get away from it all or to explore the Highlands (which is what we did) The owners, who were warm and friendly, was eager to ensure that we had a wonderful stay, which is commendable. The local amenities were a little way away( corner shop 30 minutes) with the nearest supermarket 50 minutes away, so stock up when you visit.
