Newbold and Alderminster have an excellent quality local pub and restaurant, along with a farmer’s shop that sells top quality local food and produce and all are within walking distance. The Old Workshop is a really lovely property, so well designed, with everything you need, really comfortable beds, and cosy bedrooms and really warm bathrooms. It was lovely to hear the lambs everyday. The owners are really helpful and very unobtrusive but there if you need them. We would definitely recommend the property and would love to go back.

We went as a family of 6 adults and 2 small children for my wife’s 70th birthday and our Grandson’s 6th birthday and we had a ball. Would definitely recommend and hopefully going back sooner rather than later 😊😊

Wonderful views. Spacious, warm. Woodburning stove makes it very cosy on winter evenings. A lovely place to celebrate my 60th birthday with the whole family.

A very comfortable holiday cottage which was ideal for our family group. The wood burning stove was a novelty! Although the cottage is not in Stratford itself, it is fairly close and there is a large Waitrose within easy reach. There are many places of interest in the general area so there is no shortage of things to do and there are eating places in nearby villages as well. Overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Old Workshop - ideal for a family break - clean, spacious and comfortable. Bonus that each room has en suite facilities. Great location - short driving distance to many places of interest. We enjoyed Batsford Arboretum, Upton House (NT), Moreton in Marsh and the MAD museum in Stratford. Would definitely recommend. Thank You!

Really good place to stay. Pick the apples. Conkers round the corner. Assuming you stay in September! We had a house full at different times-wedding celebrations. So really the only one negative was no shower over the bath. This is not a deal breaker.
