We had a wonderful girls weekend away at Sparrow. The accommodation is excellent they have thought of everything to make your stay easy. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The welcome pack was a lovely touch that added to our experience. The gentleman who welcomed us was lovely and resolved the missing DVD player immediately so we were able to watch the film we brought with us. We needn’t have worried about bringing one though as in the games room there is a large range of DVDs books and games for everyone to borrow! We would definitely return and highly recommend to everyone.

Spacious cottage with a wow factor. It was very warm, clean and well decorated, very well equipped. The bed was comfy, the shower was powerful, roomy and loads of hot water. A super welcome pack even included dog treats. Everything worked as it should and we could find fault with nothing.

This was the second time we have stayed at Sparrow, it was delightful - the new manager could not have been more helpful. I needed to have an oxygen machine for the duration and it was installed ready for when we arrived. The ambience of the cottage and its surroundings makes for a restful time. We have booked to return next year.

All the beds were very low and not comfortable; the double bed was seriously unlevel. In a cottage of this price, not to have wifi in the cottage is a big weakness in this day and age.
