We have just returned from a great holiday in this cottage. Aberaeron is a picture postcard village with a pretty harbour and lots of good shops and restaurants. The location of the cottage is perfect, as it takes only 1-2 minutes to walk from the cottage to the harbour or the village centre. The house is very spacious and well equipped and we would definitely recommend this as a great cottage to stay in. There are a few design features that are a bit odd, such as the huge fireplace that dominates the living room, the lack of privacy glass in all the bathrooms (hence the use of curtains or blinds), and very little clothes storage in the ground floor bedroom. We also found that the floors of the cottage were not very clean, the barbecue and the oven were dirty too. This is a shame as the rest of the kitchen itself was very clean and also very well equipped, with a vast array of cooking equipment. The rest of the house however, including all the bathrooms was very clean. The garden to the house is quite spacious and has a great covered area at the bottom with a table and chairs. Overall however, our experience was very positive and we very much enjoyed our week. We would definitely recommend this holiday cottage.

The cottage was lovely. There are a few things which could be improved, e.g, there are no drawers in the downstairs room, and there was no towel rail in the downstairs bathroom. It would also benefit from an indoor clothes airer.

This was a very nice house, in an excellent location only minutes from the centre of Aberaeron. Our family group of 10 (6 adults & 4 children) had a marvellous time. The restaurants and shops in Aberaeron were excellent. The children loved trying to catch crabs in the harbour and climbing on the rocks surrounding the harbour. The house was very spacious and well presented. The main difficulty was that almost all the kitchen knives available for cooking were blunt and the kitchen scissors were also blunt. This made cooking from raw ingredients difficult. Also the corkscrew didn't work!

Location of Magnolia is perfect. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. However the lounge sofas were dreadfully uncomfortable and the garden furniture seemed poorly maintained. Aberaeron is a lovely friendly town and we would have no hesitation in returning.
