We are just back from 13 nights spent in Maes Merlin. The dates of our trip kept being changed due to the virus but the owner happily accommodated us. The cottage was spotless and the hot tub was an added bonus. The welcome gifts were better than we have ever recieved in any rental cottage The scenery was lovely but make note you are staying on a working farm which we loved and the family are all friendly and helpful. You are at least 5 miles from the nearest pub or shop but that was perfect during this stressful time with the virus. We have left a couple of t shirts and we have been contacted by the owner who is sending them on to us. We cannot fault this cottage/barn.

Such a beautiful cottage! Had everything we needed and well equipped for a party of 6! Pubs and shops were a short car journey away and not within walking distance but we had plenty with us so not a problem! Beautiful views, next door to the owners and on a working farm. Would definitely recommend coming here for a relaxing stay! Hot tub was amazing, particularly at night time when you could see a clear view of the sky! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Very nice place, clean and well equipped. Only problem we had was the owners dogs barking at the early hours every morning waking our small children up at 4am and 6am. For this reason we would not revisit.
