I love the stables 1 and 2. I have stayed in both and this was my third visit. The hot tub is fab couldn’t do without that,. The surrounding area is beautiful and a good location to the tourist places, very remote and quiet. Gwen

We came for my husbands 30th during half-term week. We literally had the best time. Everything we could ask for and more. Gorgeous location and so relaxing. Lovely friendly host. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Well after reading previous reviews extensively before booking we were really disappointed with our stay. We specifically booked this place to stay for the enclosed garden but when we arrived the hedge at the back was full of holes and our (large) dog would have escaped within seconds. This did spoil things for us as he had to be kept on a lead in the garden. The stables themselves are a few feet away so don’t under estimate the smell this creates in the garden too! The living space was nice but looked very tired and is certainly in need of some tlc. The beds were so soft I struggled to sleep. There is a sizeable dip in the middle of each mattress. The shower runs scolding hot and freezing cold whenever it feels like. There were some nice walks in the area but all the ones we found required a car to get to. Dog toy and treats were a nice touch but would have rather had provisions to make a cup of tea after a long drive. Really recommend The George at Nunney to eat and The Royal Bengal in Frome.
