We found the owner to be rude and she was making stereotypical comments towards us because we are foreign. She also invaded our privacy by inviting herself without notice. She was saying that she's had our sort stay before. Her accusations were not acceptable. Neighbours were good and the place was nice and pleasant.

Great place for a big group of people, if you want plenty of space and a rural setting.

Generally we loved staying at the Big Barn but the main difficulty we encountered was that when the children went to bed, the noise from the main lounge carried very clearly upstairs to the rooms above the lounge. The space and facilities were good and we enjoyed the garden. Good parking space. There was an unpleasant smell from the toilet in the en-suite room above lounge, only when flushed.
