Very pleased . Small but everything that was required for a short break. Chinese takeaway only yards away and local pub not much further. Ideal base for a couple . And our 2 dogs loved enclosed garden. Easy walk to Anstruther. Would use again

We stayed at the property as we attended a family wedding nearby. We stay in cottages throughout the UK but have never had an inventory in the 'welcome pack' with the prices for damage to cups or glasses etc. Welcome to Low Tide. The bathroom has black mould along the bottom of the bath screen. The bathroom window has black mould growing on it. The chrome safety rail and the inner curtain rail are rusty and dirty. The shower head has black mould growing on it. The front and back doors, locks and door handles are decrepit. The bedroom window was stuck and barely openable. The lounge carpet is marked and stained, due for replacement. The back door forms the only window to the lounge but the glass was dirty, in the low sun the lower panes are seen to covered in marks from what looks like a dog's slobbery nose. The bed linen, pillows and bathroom towels were clean but worn out, and should be discarded and replaced. The kitchen is infested with ants. There was a kindly placed teapot teabags biscuits etc upon arrival. The car park space was disputed by the neighbour within 5 minutes of our arrival. This can't be attributed to Low Tide, but overall detracted from my relaxation and enjoyment. We are realistic but my sister stayed nearby in another holiday cottage at similar cost, where it was clear the property was properly refreshed and delightful. We took the proposition at Low Tide to be tired and dingy in the extreme.

We had a very comfortable stay at Low Tide. We had everything we needed and the owner had made sure that we had a "warm" welcome on a dark, cold January afternoon by leaving a lamp and fire on. The sea view from both living room and bedroom was spectacular.

Enjoyed a hogmany break at Low Tide Cottage. Suited us as well located for local pubs and restaurants (including an excellent Chinese Takeway). Property is dog friendly with reasonably large enclosed back garden facing the sea, also close to excellent walks on Fife Coastal Path. Cottage is cosy and warm, however, we did find it to be small. Particularly the bedroom. Parking was OK as adjoining houses not occupied, however, this could be a problem in high season. Would be useful if the information in the cottage had some guidance on parking.

Fantastic for the dog, bedroom needed a window that opened and footstools would have been nice. Overall, excellent
