The surrounding area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and anyone who loves the outdoors. Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve is within easy reach, with routes ranging from scenic lower-level walks to rewarding mountain climbs. The quieter roads and trails around Loch Tay reveal waterfalls, forests, historic sites and spectacular viewpoints, while the water itself is popular for kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing.
Seven miles away, the attractive village of Killin is home to the famous Falls of Dochart, where the River Dochart tumbles over rocks beneath the old stone bridge. The village has shops, cafés and places to eat, as well as access to further walking and cycling routes. Guests can also explore the lochside villages, discover local history at the Scottish Crannog Centre, or simply take a scenic drive through the glens. Wildlife is plentiful, with opportunities to spot red squirrels, deer and a wonderful variety of birdlife. Each season brings its own character, from spring wildflowers to autumn colour.
Pip Cottage is a distinctive octagonal thatched retreat designed especially for two. Its inviting open-plan studio interior brings the living, kitchen and sleeping areas together beneath original ceiling beams, complemented by elegant furniture and cosy underfloor heating. The beautifully equipped kitchen features modern appliances, while the king-size bed is dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton linen.
A spacious en-suite bathroom provides both a walk-in shower and a romantic roll-top bath. Outside, the private year-round hot tub is the perfect place to unwind beside the bubbling burn.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests.
