Bramble Cottage enjoys a peaceful position beside the bubbling Ardeonaig Burn, within the grounds of the historic Ardeonaig Hotel on Loch Tay’s southern shore. Surrounded by open countryside, wooded hills and the mountains of Highland Perthshire, this secluded setting offers the perfect opportunity to slow down and reconnect with nature. Loch Tay is just a short walk across the hotel grounds, with beautiful views towards the Ben Lawers range.
The surrounding area is ideal for walking, cycling and outdoor adventure. The Rob Roy Way passes past the hotel, while Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve offers routes for different abilities, from gentle nature trails to rewarding mountain climbs. On the loch, visitors can enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding and sailing, while guests at Bramble Cottage also benefit from access to the shoreline and fishing rights for trout. Quiet roads and paths lead through scenic glens, woodland and rolling countryside, making every day an opportunity to discover somewhere new.
Seven miles away, Killin is a picturesque Highland village best known for the Falls of Dochart, where the river tumbles dramatically over rocks beneath the old stone bridge. The village offers shops, cafés and places to eat, as well as further walking and cycling routes. Travelling east along Loch Tay leads towards Kenmore and the Scottish Crannog Centre, while scenic drives reveal waterfalls, forests and historic landmarks. Wildlife is abundant, with red squirrels, deer and varied birdlife often seen throughout the area.
Bramble Cottage is a welcoming one-bedroom, semi-detached retreat for two, perched beside the Ardeonaig Burn. The comfortable living and dining area overlooks a private garden with hot tub, and one dog is welcome.
Inside, the modern kitchen features a Corian worktop and Smeg appliances, while underfloor heating keeps the cottage warm and cosy. The king-size bedroom has an original ceiling beam, riverside views and a memory-foam mattress dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. A spacious bathroom provides a roll-top bath and separate walk-in shower. Wi-Fi, a television and DVD player are also included. The Ardeonaig Hotel is just a short walk away, offering seasonal dining, bar and takeaway options, while private parking is provided beside the cottage.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 20 guests.
