This property is part of our Welsh Country Cottages collection

An inspiring collection of properties chosen for their character, luxury and heritage, all graded 4 star and above..

This holiday barn is ideal for a couple who wish to explore mid Wales and the array of visitor attractions nearby.

Lying peacefully in a rural location and just a short drive away from the dramatic Ceredigion coastline, this row of traditional Welsh holiday barns (refs OR3, OR4 and OR5) have been sympathetically restored to a high standard, making it a perfect touring base for couples looking for an adventure. Lluest Cottages have been tastefully decorated throughout and equipped with all the appropriate amenities for an unforgettable experience. Each cottage has its own enclosed lawn garden with a patio area where guests can sit, relax and unwind whilst watching the red kites soar over the magnificent scenery or enjoy the wildlife beyond the garden in the woodlands, fields and pond areas that are part of the property. The area itself has lots to offer, including fantastic walks along the Ceredigion coastline, famous for its horseshoe coves, Iron Age settlements and sandy beaches, where bottlenose dolphins and seals can be spotted on a clear day! The picturesque harbour towns of Newquay and Aberaeron offer unblemished beaches, restaurants, boutique shopping and art galleries that are waiting to be explored. Away from the coast, Ceredigion’s countryside is just as promising, with an array of charming market towns and historic castles dotted around the county. For an adventurous day out, take a short drive to the rugged Cambrian Mountains and explore the Cors Caron Nature Reserve, which flourishes with wildlife and the historic ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, which is one of Wales’ most important historical sites. Beach 2½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Open-plan living/dining room with electric fire and spacious galley-style kitchen area with tiled floor. First floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed, arrow-slit windows and en-suite bathroom with separate shower cubicle and toilet.

Our first holiday in Wales and we were not disappointed. Love the fact that we could bring the dogs along too. The cottage was everything you could ask for and the owners extremely welcoming. Will definitely go back again.

This is a brilliant property where dogs are part of the family. Our dog and the two of us are always made very welcome. Because of the way the owners are with everyone we would recommend this holiday let to anybody. This was our third visit and hopefully not the last. Not only are they very friendly they always make sure you have a starter pack of bread, butter, milk,Welsh cakes, jam & chutney teabags coffee etc.

Just perfect. The friendly owners have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable. Cosy sitting room well equipped kitchen super bed and bathroom. Garden perfect for our dogs and a lovely space to sit out. All in beautiful countryside. The welcome of bread cheese and welshcakes were a nice surprise. We had a perfect relaxing break.

Lovely little cottage, very comfortable. In fact it's the first holiday cottage I've stayed in and haven't woken up with back ache! Pam is very welcoming and fully explained everything, plus there was a lovely welcome pack waiting, including biscuits for the dogs. You do need a car as there is nothing within walking distance, but if it's peace and quiet you are looking for, you will find it in bucket loads here. Aberaeron is a quaintly little town with some nice dog friendly pubs, and there are a few dog friendly beaches within a short travelling distance. A very relaxing stay indeed.

Excellent hosts what a wonderful family. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The welcome pack and welsh cakes. Grandma own recipe and griddle. The ducks and ducklings trooping across to the owners cottage for their breakfast. A good touring location for mid Wales. I had the privilege of viewing all the cottages for rent and the thought and work that has been done is excellent. One complaint only we had to leave but we will be back. So dog friendly every where and the secure gardens on each cottage for dogs. Thank you team 11 out of 10 and well worth every penny. Pat and John 78 and 71 years old very happy pensioners The Granary was so comfortable and spotlessly clean See you soon..
