This charming detached lodge style cottage built in 2013 is set behind The Willows (CC317031), offering its own privacy with views over the fields behind. Spacious for two people, Little Willows is ideally located to explore the Heritage coast, peppered with castles and friendly villages. Only a short drive from Amble, reputedly the friendliest port with a working harbour, good Sunday market and a good selection of pubs, restaurants and shops, with an award-winning ice cream shop on the harbour. Amble is the start of the Heritage coastal route so head north for glorious beaches or head west towards the National Park and Cheviots all within easy driving distance making fabulous days out. Little Willows and The Willows are both dog friendly properties and can be booked together for larger groups whilst maintaining privacy in both properties.

Lovely accommodation and very well equipped. Lots of hot water, big towels and a very comfy bed. Perfect location for visiting lots on interesting places.

Little Willow exceeded our expectations! For for two people and two Labradors it was spacious, the bed was king size and ever so comfy, double fitted wardrobes provided ample storage space and the en-suite bathroom was new and the low bath made it easier to access the overhead shower which was very powerful. The open plan lounge kitchen diner had a huge tv and a large comfortable corner sofa, and patio doors where enjoyed views across fields and hedges. We spotted an owl twice as well as fox 力! The owners were very friendly helpful throughout, nothing was too much trouble- even when I’d left behind my house and car keys - straight away the owners notified me and offered to post my keys back by registered post. The location was ideal for beaches and country parks alike - Druidge Bay & Country Park, as well as Amble itself with its Sunday Market and retail pods are all within easy reach. Locally, and on our last night we tried the Chinese takeaway Ocean Star it was delicious, our only regret was that we wished we had tried it earlier so we could have enjoyed it twice! Finally, we found all the beaches we visited were dog friendly in or out of season - something not too be missed.
